Today is one of THOSE days.

Woke up, and managed to get out of bed in a pretty decent shape, considering yesterday’s long night and short sleep. Did my back exercises (a morning routine) and started doing laundry, went into the kitchen, noticed the mess from yesterday’s baking session for Halloween 🎃, and decided to get rid of all the pans and put them back into the oven. Opening the oven was a mistake! Realised that my oven was not the cleanest, so I started cleaning the oven, got hungry, reached for some nuts, saw the drawer, took out all the things and started cleaning, got thirsty, opened the fridge, … guess what, ended up taking everything out of the fridge to clean it. I realized that I had an urgent package to return, fired up my MacBook, and started printing the return label. Wait! First I need to turn on the printer. Went into the bedroom to do that, and started taking apart my bed to wash the linens, because… well because it was just time! Went back to the living room … Wasn’t I in the middle of doing something? … Went back to my MacBook, saw the opened PDF with the return label, and went back to turning on the printer. Managed this time! Printed the label, started putting all things to be returned into a parcel, saw the games from yesterday’s board game night, and decided to put them back into the board game shelf. Saw the mess on the shelf 😱! Started to take out all the board games 🎲 to reorder them and clean up the mess. Wasn’t able to decide how to reorder them — that was my brain giving me a tiny hint that I hadn’t had my coffee yet. Kitchen it is. Started up my coffee machine. Got out my soy milk from the fridge and realized that I had never finished cleaning up the fridge. Finished cleaning the fridge and put everything back including the soy milk. Went to the coffee machine, and finished making my coffee. Wait no I did not because I put the soy milk back into the fridge 🤦‍♀️! Got soy milk, finished preparing my coffee, went to my MacBook, saw the time, realized that it was time to meet my Bouldercrew for some fun time 🧗‍♀️ … took a look around my flat, and realized that I won’t finish shit today … and that’s absolutely fine 🥰
